This 1964 Toyota Land Cruiser FJ45 pickup was acquired out of New Mexico in 2020 by the current owner, who commissioned a three-year refurbishment that consisted of repainting the exterior in blue, reupholstering the seats in Coral, and installing a built 1FZ-FE inline-six with Holley Sniper fuel injection, an H42 four-speed manual transmission, and a 3.0:1 split transfer case along with Tom Woods driveshafts, a 70-Series full float rear axle, and 3.70:1 Harrop electronic differential locks. An Orange Park Machine front bumper with an integrated Warn winch is also fitted, and additional features include a 4PlusProducts rear bumper with a receiver hitch, 16″ steel wheels, manually locking front hubs, power-assisted four-wheel disc brakes, an AGR Performance steering box, and Dobinsons IMS shocks. This FJ45 pickup is now offered in Mississippi by the seller on behalf of the owner at no reserve with build records and a clean Florida title in the current owner’s name.

Rust repairs were carried out in the bed before the truck was refinished in Horizontal Blue (T-1208) by Ozark Overland Outfitters of West Plains, Missouri during the aforementioned refurbishment. A Warn 10k-lb winch is integrated into the Orange Park Machine front bumper while the 4PlusProducts rear bumper has an integrated receiver hitch as well as separate swing-out carriers for the spare tire and included Yeti cooler

Black 16″ steel wheels with chrome hubcaps wear 255/85 Yokohama Geolander M/T G003 tires. The truck is equipped with manually locking front hubs, Dobinsons IMS shocks, Old Man Emu leaf springs, and a Saginaw Steering power steering setup with an AGR Performance steering box. Power-assisted four-wheel discs work in conjunction with a Wilwood master cylinder and a PSC Motorsports remote reservoir. An E-Stopp electronic parking brake is also fitted.

The three-spoke steering wheel frames Dakota Digita instrumentation that consists of a 120-mph speedometer and a digital odometer showing 469 miles as well as gauges for oil pressure, coolant temperature, battery voltage, and fuel level. Total mileage is unknown.

The split bench seat has been retrimmed in Coral upholstery as part of the refurbishment, and lap belts are fitted for both occupants. Silver trim complements the body color dashboard and door panels while rubber floor mats line the footwells. The truck has two sliding rear windows, and a tool kit and fuse panel are located under the driver’s seat.

The 24-valve DOHC 1FZ-FE inline-six was installed by Mosley Motors, LLC of Memphis, Tennesse, and is equipped with a non-US-spec 1FZ cylinder head and intake manifold in addition to a US-spec 1FZ-FE bottom-end, 1.0mm oversized high-compression pistons from JE Pistons, and replacement camshafts from Schneider Racing Cams according to the seller, who states that the 101mm bore and 95mm stroke yield a total displacement of 4,577cc with a 10.0:1 compression ratio.

A Holley Sniper 2GC throttle body with electronic fuel injection is mounted to the factory carbureted intake manifold using an adapter, and the engine is further equipped with a custom radiator with a SPAL Automotive brushless fan, a later-model thermostat, a Jet Hot-coated exhaust manifold, and a ceramic-coated header that flows into a 2.5″ exhaust system with an 80-Series muffler.

Power is routed to the rear or all four wheels through an H42 four-speed manual transmission with an FJCompany 1FZ bellhousing, a split transfer case with 3.0:1 gears, Tom Woods driveshafts, a 70-Series full float rear axle, and 3.70:1 Harrop electronic differential locks.

A replacement data plate added during the refurbishment shows the frame number 4-FJ45-15784, which matches the VIN listed on the current Florida title. A photo of a matching frame stamping is provided in the gallery, and an 81-page forum post detailing the build can be viewed here.
